Just had a really wonderful lunch here. A great recommendation of the winter special pecan latte...which was excellent. Get it while it's on the menu...I'm told it won't be available for much longer. The food was also great quality. The service was friendly and the staff all seemed very passionate and engaged. This is a good reminder personally that I want to support fantastic businesses like this. Well done guys
very welcoming, relaxed service. Everyone we interacted with were kind and helpful and it lended to a very pleasant atmosphere. The espresso was beautifully balanced. I had a cardamom bun with elderflower and camomile which had such a delicate balance of sweet and savoury. The croissant bun had a really nice ratio of sweet undercut with a saltiness that made sure nothing was too overpowering , really lovely experience can’t wait to try out the sister wine bar upstairs
Ante is among some of the finest places in Edinburgh for brunch and pastries. I never knew an omelette could taste so good and this is probably the only item I ever order whenever I go. Their pastries are brilliant and super underrated. Staff are always nice and accommodating.
Loved the place and the vibe — absolutely gorgeous and fab! Just wish it stayed open longer, that would make it perfect.
Loved the place and the vibe!! Very buzzy coffee shop, it's very small inside so it can get crowded. Luckily, we arrived right in time and were seated immediately and the service was a little bit slow, but - as I said - the place was full. The coffee was amazing, I took a Pecan Oat Latte and my boyfriend took a Batch Brew, we were both very happy with it. The food was GREAT and very well prepared.
absolutely lovely service and incredible coffee. as a edinburgh local i’ve tried coffee shops and cafes across the city and this is hands down the best one around. a must visit if your in the city.
The Apple and Hazelnut danish is probably the best pastry I've consumed in my life. Matcha was smooth and the coffee was right up my alley. Great interior, excellent service from the staff and a lively indie rock playlist to quietly sing along to. On the pricier side of things but the danish is well worth it.
Staff are really nice Relaxed atmosphere. Space is smartly divided and wisely used. Food is simple, yet flavorful. Distinguished ingredients. Different from any other place. Coffee is so good, skillfully prepared
